You need to be more specific... Many people will also not bother to call
you if you don't post more specifics

What state and municipality? size and type of project? (new or remodel)
Do you have to have them stamped?
In Michigan, we can do projects un to 3,500 sq.ft. without a seal required.

Most Architects won't sign / seal drawings for you without thoroughly
reviewing things early on. You could also
possibly save yourself some work down the road by getting someone to look at
it in the prelim stage and get
input from Arch / Structural (if really complex project). I do between 25-35
houses and additions a year
(I am not registered).

In many states, it is Illegal for them to sign work that they have NOT
prepared THEMSELVES... I have several
Architects that I collaborate with here. Might want to try and find someone
locally to develop a working relationship
with (if you plan to do similar work in the future).
