Civil Engineering firm is looking for an experienced CAD manager with exceptional AutoCAD and Land Desktop skills. This firm has approximately 60 AutoCAD/Land Desktop stations and has not had a formal CAD Manager position before. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the management, support and use of these Autodesk products in a civil engineering environment. Expertise in Microsoft
NT4/W2K, Microstation/GeoPak, and GIS is desirable as well as an understanding of networking and hardware.
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate with CAD operators, registered engineers and executives. This position will provide mentoring, troubleshooting and training for end users. The ability to
identify workflow problems and provide customization to increase productivity is a highly desirable skill. The primary goal for establishing this position is to assist
with the utilization of Land Desktop R3 and increasing CAD user productivity.
