Autodesk Support Specialist
Responsibilities: In a team environment, responsible for supporting AutoCAD and associated programs for end users (civil engineering drafters and designers). Support involves desktop/onsite support and telephone support over a Wide Area Network for 17 offices—travel is required. High-level problem identification and resolution skills are necessary to resolve software/hardware issues. Support network plotters and printer drivers; plan company wide software upgrades involving Autodesk and associated products. Ability to work with Autodesk vendors to maintain license pool on company license servers. Distribute and install software/hardware updates and productivity information through or email and/or web distribution. Manage computer files, standards, and workflow procedures while working with various client and internal drafting standards.

Qualifications:

10 years of experience with Autodesk and related products–either in a support/production environment
Experience implementing network plotters, license servers, and flexml licensing
Experience in an A/E/C firm
Experience with Novell, Bentley products
Must be able to demonstrate skill and knowledge within an AutoCad network environment
Must have good customer service, communication, analysis and problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
Undergraduate degree in IS or equivalent experience
