sharing is caring

I'm beating my head against a wall here. Anybody willing to post an
ADT-slanted office manual over at the customerfiles NG? I'm looking for
some drafting standards, but it's snowballing into a whole lot more...

If your mood is really generous - I would love to see an Access template for
faxes/transmittals/telephone conversation records, too.

To really press my luck, anybody want to just send me some unmarked $100
bills?

But seriously, if there is an open source type document out there that is
slanted toward the architecture profession, and takes ADT specific practices
into consideration - I'd love to get a peek.

TIA

I sent you some files directly - I don't mind sharing, but I prefer (in most
case) to know to whome I have sent stuff. It's just hte start of my
development ofthe same sort of manual, but I hope it helps.

I'd share but I'm still just getting started so it's in no real condition
except for some general standards, some note on paper and some ideas in my
head. I'll email you my head and maybe you can shake the ideas out. Oh I'm
emailing you some $100's. You should get them anytime. 😛

I tried to send you something. I took the --NS-- out of your address, I
hope that was all that was needed. If not, write to me.

HVAC Plumbing and electrical systems serving buildings, in which case the
HVAC is normaly known as "mechanical engineering."

As opposed to, say, designing sports cars or something

no mostly framing of mechanical tubing. think of a metal version of 2x4's,
4x4's, and on up to 12x18's. We use extrustion products and I cut them to
length in the software and erect a structure held to gether with different
components.

I am looking for an asme, ansi y14.5 dimensional stuff. I can send you a
sample privately if you need more info.

Thanks Drew, but we don't really do any dimensioning. Mostly what we do is
note duct and pipe sizes with leader text.
