printing directories

Does anyone know of a way- or software to print the contents of a specific sub-directory without having to manually open, print, close each time?
I have several hundred details, and no hard copy.
Thanks

Do you mean a directory full of DWG files?

Free: DWGLIST.EXE at http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm

Not-free, but inexpensive with more options:

Hi Henry,

Here's a nifty freeware utility-- Directory Lister to use:
http://strony.wp.pl/wp/skorczyl/freewarez/index_en.html
It will create html reports and great for checking on folder sizes of
users and projects!

Another cool shareware utility to graphically display folders is--
SizeExplorer:
http://www.sizeexplorer.com/se.htm

And finally check out Karen's Power Tools-- Directory Printer:
http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp

For folder syncing, you might look at these utilities:
http://www.kanastacorp.com/tarylynn.html
http://www.grigsoft.com/wspics.htm

And for Windows File Managers w/ sync ability, check out:
Total Commander-- http://www.ghisler.com/whatsnew.htm
Frigate3 (cool sizer screen!) -- http://www.frigate3.com/index.php
AB Commander-- http://www.winability.com/abcommander/
2xExplorer-- http://www.netez.com/2xExplorer/
Explor2000-- http://www.cmaufroy.com/index.html
Directory Opus6 (wild & nifty interface!)--
http://www.gpsoft.com.au/Intro.html
PowerDesk-- http://www.v-com.com/product/pd_ind.html
Universal Explorer-- http://www.spadixbd.com/universal/index.htm

Ciao!
~Terry

You can also try the "Foldersizes" utility which does much of the same thing:

Do you want to print a list of what is resides in the directory folder or do you want to print a copy of each file within the directory folder?

I want to print a copy of each drawing that resides in certain subdirectories.
I have ten subdirectories, each has between 30 and 500 drawing details as individual drawings and want to print a copy of each, without having to open, zoom, and print each one.

You could use multi-batch. I think its $30 a seat, but it will spool through each drawing an plot. Thats not all it will do. You can write scripts for it that will do anything in AutoCAD.

You could look into Acroplot. It isn't free but not too expensive either. It might allow you to do what you want and at the same time create either pdfs or dwfs for viewing purposes.

Just a thought...
