oh, no - you've caught on....
got my wife hooked on Facebook so she wouldn't ask me to hang any more curtains/change the curtains/relocate or hang any more pictures....

I like trading books with my son... you can't loan a Kindle book to a friend
to read...

yeah, but, my husband still hasn't... instead of facebook, I got him a
baby, so he wouldn't keep after me for all those little things around
the house.

You can with a nook if they have one or a reader. There's an app for that too. Or if it's a free book they can just download a copy.
