Options --> File Tab --> Text Editor, Dictionary, and Font File Names -->
Main Dictionary

This is where you would specify the Dictionary to use for spell check, in
ADT06 anyway.

I should have been more specific. The global Windows/Office spellchecker.
Not Acad.

From my Office 97 Help:

snip>
Change the default language dictionary used to check spelling

1 If you haven't already done so, install and activate the dictionary for
the language you want to check.

How?

2 On the Tools menu, point to Language, and then click Set Language.

Show me

3 In the Mark selected text as box, click the language you want.
4 Click Default.

Note Keep in mind that changing the default language may affect other Word
settings, such as the formats used for dates, numbers, and currencies.
end of snip>

I just tried it out Ric, and I found quite a few languages were in there -
besides a number of English ones.

HTH

I'm assuming you've recently installed Office 2007. Here's your answer from
MicroCrap:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/932974/en-us?spid=2578

Basically, the link says they don't care...go fix your own problem with free
stuff from the 'net 'cause they aren't going to do it for you.

Go figure...they break their own product then refuse to fix it.
