    What Windows version did that?

Sure it wasn't an add-on that revealed the info?

Starting with the Vertical Autodesk products ~2005-06 (I think) in Win XP you could add columns and then select other in regular Windows Explorer. They were down towards the bottom of the list and it had File Saved Version and what Product it was last saved with, a coulpe others (I think there were 5 or 6). I was thinking 7 did it too but I can't find the columns anymore...

    Andrew,

That information previously existed in "Summary Information" which I believe is discontinued in Windows 7.

It may be overkill for your needs but CadTempo can provide that information along with much more.
