Weird File

I'm hoping one of the experts here can provide an
answer.  Attached is an example of a file our firm has had for a
few years.  Open up modelspace and zoom around.  It's almost as if
there is a viewport inside of modelspace.  Even the UCS is
shifted right to the edge of the view.  It's hard to explain without
looking at the file yourself.  Please examine the file and if you know the
setting or how to change this to a normal view, please let me know.
Thanks.

This seems to happen sometimes. The software doesn't fully recover from the use of MS Viewports. To fix it enter Vports at the command line. Select any of the multiple choices in the Standard Viewports pane of the New Viewports tab. Click OK to divide the screen in to multiple viewports then reinitiate the Vports command and select the Single choice. Once you OK back to the drawing everything should behave normally (as far as viewports go).
