Transfering a Subscription to another Reseller

Hello. I was just curious for some information about transferring a subscription to another reseller. Long story short, we have a subsidiary company that is on the other side of the country and their license is on our contract. It would be advantageous for them to have there own reseller locally for support.

Anyone know how this works?

You need to talk to Adesk, or have your local reseller work out the details.

Are you talking about subscription or actually software (help desk) support? If it is support for software your subsidiary might be able to get an help desk contract with a local reseller for that.

In our case I manage "X" qty of license (on our subscription) for other locations. It helps me in controlling these locations by not allowing them to install and upgrade their license without my knowledge. In the past this was a problem and internally we could not communicate, since we were all using different versions of AutoCAD. In addition since our accounting transaction come from one common location, it makes it easier on accounting having one PO for multiple locations. Just some food for thought...

I just changed reseller. I just sent a payment to the new reseller, and they handled it. I received a confirmation e-mail from Autodesk saying my subscription has been renewed.
Very easy.
I did let me old reseller know that I was going to use a different reseller.
