Since we installed AutoCAD 2014, we are having a problem with the files that were created or saved with AC 2014.
anytime you double click on the saved 2014 file, it tries to open the file using AutoCAD 2013.
Unless you have AutoCAD 2014 open already, it tries to open the file in 2013.
Any ideas.
Thanks

I suppose there might be a way to control that. But double clicking on the drawing in Windows Explorer has long been considered the poorest way to open a drawing. If you don't want to open AutoCAD 2014 and then open the file. You can use the method I use. Find the file you want to open and drag it to the AutoCAD desktop Icon. You can customize the icon so the program opens with the correct profile and workspace every time. You can even create multiple icons so you can open with different profiles and workapaces.
