Does anyone have a decent program to address photometrics along a streetscape? My landscape dept needs something talented, but compact - no 400 pound gorilla for this one. Nothing pricey either - of course. TIA -

Lithonia Lighting's Lightware is what I use, it's free, but I'm not sure if it does streetscapes. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --

Get the MFR of the street lights to do it for you. Check out LSI. http://www.lsi-industries.com/ They can do it! Be warned, having the manufacturer/supplier do the lighting plan will often result in a lot more light fixtures than someone more interested in limiting your client's budget Be sure to tell them things like "use 1,000 watt bulbs (or whatever the max allowed is)" and "there is nothing wrong with putting a few quads out there". And of course, supply them with whatever local codes that need to be followed. Most places don't like a lot of outdoor light spilling all over the place. If you want to do the photometrics in AutoCAD, Design Master Electrical might do what you want.

http://www.designmaster.biz/products/electrical/photocalc.html

It is $500, which might be too pricey. We have a free demo that you can request to see if it will fit your needs before purchasing.
