Looking for

Something that can check and change CAD standards similar to how it does it
in AutoCAD '02. I need something that is easy to use for people that don't
have '02. I searched some old posts here and found this:
http://www.prosoftnet.com/products/NetSPEX.asp
I was curious if anybody uses it, or has any other suggestions.
TIA

Greg,

If you found the old posts you probably know this already. 🙂
NetSPEX is a good product.
PROSOFT puts a lot of effort into making the customer happy.
I have seen demos of it and like it what I have seen. I can not get my
company to spring for it or else I would have. Hey, we (I have only been
here a year) are just now finalizing our standards. I can't expect the
world.

I talked to one of their sales reps. Netspex looks really good but it is
expensive. They require $3,000 for a mandatory central server right off the
bat. Plus they require every user of ACAD to have a seat of their standards
checker. I really wanted a couple of seats per plant so people can start
switching old drawings to the new standards.

Greg, I spoke with a person that works at ProSosft and was told that there
is no need to have a license for every seat. You can have as many or as few
as you need. Everything else is true though. From what I have seen of it, it
looks worth it.
