I think it will be difficult to remove AutoCAD from the "Suite" bundles,
because they were sold as a bundle. However, nothing stops a software
company from discontinuing a product....ie; AutoCAD (someday??), Viz (
already gone) Windows 2000, XP, Adobe Dreamweaver , in favor of "new and
improved" products with different interfaces and functionality. We do not
buy these products, but only purchase a license to use...

That is true, for now: Autodesk like all software vendors decide
independently of their users whether to continue to provide freebies or not
and that's no way for the rest of us to run our businesses.
