This is a subject that comes up frequently at work, and I'm not quite sure that we've got it right yet. Can I pick your brains?
How do you define success in the CAD office? How do you measure it? How do you monitor your progress toward your companies stratagies?
I'd really appreciate your thoughts....
Paul
I found this thread in a google search and I am developing a D&D KPI metric currently. - Apologies for the resurrection-
I am looking at establishing KPI's on Quality, Productivity and Cost. I was hoping to get some insight of other managers on what experience they have had.
Juan,
I can't speak to the quality aspect, but CadTempo software can help you with the productivity and cost analysis.
Patrick, Thank you for the idea, I will look into your site.
I am also curious as to what other managers are using as quantifiable tracking metrics
I hope you do check it out Juan,
More to the point of how I've used it I had written a couple of articles for AUGI several years ago that may have a bearing. Here's a link to the first article blog post: CadTempo.Blog the second article in the series may be of more interest.
Holy flashback, Batman, I remember reading these when they came out.
I hadn't realized it was a whole 6 years ago I had written them. Lots of changes in CadTempo with many more goodies (and more to come).
