Forums Slow with Outlook Express?

Is this happening for others besides me? I use Outlook Express newsreader
for the forums, and reading messages here is really hanging! The Autodesk
forums have alway exhibited intermittent hanging for me, (Microsoft and
other forums never exhibit this), but almost every other message here I
click on today is hanging for 10-20 seconds! I can then go to Microsoft
forums, and no problems at all, then back here, and hanging again?

I didn't know where elase to post this, but hopefully one of the forum
monitors will pass some word along to Autodesk.

Well I've been using OE (pleased to say it works OK - just not fantastic -
for me) since my trial of Tbird in late Spring of last year.

Clinton's posts take the longest to load, I've noticed in this particular
thread.

Most everybody else's have loaded in about 1 to 1.5 seconds.

Clinton's have taken almost 5 seconds to load.

Autodesk's implementation of the "black and white" background recently,
together with their revision to their WebPage's format seems to have added
considerable time for their WebPages to fully load nowadays.

And just to add a little more fervor to this thread...

Agreed. I've found several Autodesk URL's in old newsgroup posts, etc.
that point to nowhere now. Unfortunately, 95% of newsgroup posters are
just going to copy/paste the URL out of the address bar when posting a
link to a support or download page.

Have you seen this?

That may have been due to Carol's departure Mrs. Perry?

And some of my Favorites tagged to the Autodesk WebPages have come up

Meh, don't want to read too much into it, it just may have been that
they did a shot of a boardroom of folks from the Aerospace and
Semiconductor industries (fields with the lowest level of female
participation according to the augi annual salary surveys).

~nodding~ my quick resource (aka, DH who had every useful bit of autocad
info bookmarked for retrieval within 3 seconds of my merest whim) was
mightily irritated.

But, he did puzzle out quite a few of the main paths rather quickly
himself. It took him almost 2 minutes to find the last answer I asked
him for ~tch tch tch~ ~shaking head sadly~.

I have frequent Reply Group occurences with OE that will not appear in the
group but are in the Sent items folder. I have to resend quite frequently.
Is this observed by others?

I used to regularly not see my own Repy Group posts despite that they actually did post. Someone suggested to
always refresh (F5) the ng before hitting Send in the reply and I've not seen that problem since, any time I
remembered to do so.

Hmmm, thanks for the tip, I'll try that out as I see F5 does "flash" the
