Disabling Commands

Hi,
I'd like to know, How can an AutoCAD superviser DISABLE som Commands like SAVE and PRINT on users workstations.
I tried editing "acad.mnu" file but it only removes the Save Command frm menubar but this command already active when user types "Save" in command line of AutoCAD.
Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Try looking at the UNDEFINE comand... also you would probably be better off searching/reading or asking in the Customization discussion group. In addition to any replies you might receive or have already received, you may find more information or responses by posting future Visual LISP, AutoLISP and General Customization related questions in the following discussion group: By NNTP discussion group reader at news://discussion.autodesk.com/autodesk.autocad.customization By HTTP (web-based) interface at http://discussion.autodesk.com/forum.jspa?forumID=130 -- Tracy W. an 'aside' question: If all you need is a viewer, why not save +US$3000.00 and buy a dwg viewer? Or explore using DWF format for those users. -- Dean Saadallah Add-on products for LT http://www.pendean.com/lt --

You can "undefine" commands, but users who know some tricks can still use those commands anyways, by using .save, .plot, etc. Tim mrha1380 wrote: > Hi, > I'd like to know, How can an AutoCAD superviser DISABLE som Commands like SAVE and PRINT on users workstations. > I tried editing "acad.mnu" file but it only removes the Save Command frm menubar but this command already active when user types "Save" in command line of AutoCAD. > Thanks for any help and suggestions.
