DWG viewer

I'm sorry to say that I've been lax in keeping up with the new developments of DWF and the demise of VoloView, but do I understand it correctly that the only product that Autodesk now offers for basic DWG viewing is DWF Composer?

There are a lot of third party DWG viewers. Just try a google search.

try bentley view. works a treat and it boggles the mind that they will provide a FREE dwg & dgn viewer, but autodesk won't/can't.

lesee, Bentley chooses to spend resources developing a free viewer and ADESK let's 'em without spending a dime. What's to boggle?

BTW, it is my understanding that VIEW does not currently view DWF's.

Here is an off the wall suggestion......

Try this site:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=2787358

The basic DWF viewer for free will also give you 3D DWF viewing. That is
pretty nifty.

Try it out first before you go elsewhere.
