I thought it would be interesting to open this question up. What books have you read, which books to you turn to when you get stuck? Do you even read books ant more - do you prefer videos or the internet?
I've got a couple of books on joinery, from japanese to english/french timber framing and roofing, but none of those are really applicable to drafting - at least not to anything I do at the office. I've also read and enjoyed 'the Art of Japanese Carpentry Drawing' - available from http://thecarpentryway.blogspot.com
I do have a question on your list -- perhaps a national nomenclature variation, but just what is 'First and Second Fixing Carpentry'?
