Bind an image????

Is there any way to bind an image file into a dwg?

Sadly, nope. DWGs cannot be containers for images and must always reference them
externally.

ToolPac (dotsoft.com) has an image binder. Depending on the image, it might
make large CAD files.

You can use the windows cut & paste, making sure you don't link the OLE object to the original.

There are a few workarounds here:

If you have Raster Design 2008, you can embed bitonal images
in the DWG file using a native AutoCAD/ARD command.
