Are the servers up and running?

Don't know if it's me or the discussions servers, but I haven't been able to
connect to the servers lately.

If you connect, it must be running.

My understanding is that they were down for the last 4-5 business days.

Mark and All -

The Autodesk discussion group server was restored to service
early AM February 8 after downtown from February 2. The messages
for that time period were not recovered to the message data base.
You may have to reset your newsgroup reader to see new messages
from the newsgroup reader side of the server.

We have been as frustrated as all of you for the last week, as
the access to
all Autodesk newsgroups failed due to a hard drive fault that
eventually resulted in complete system failure. Significant
steps have been taken to prevent
future disruption of this service, which we value as much as you
rely on it.

Thank you for your understanding, and we're glad to be back.

Does that mean there will be 6 more weeks of winter?

It sure feels like it up here in Maine. Mix of snow, sleet,
freezing rain coming down at the moment. I have a bright, sunny
shine on my face at the moment due to the server speed
