Hello,
I'm having trouble creating dwf files from a drawing in paper space with
multiple viewports looking into a fairly complex model. There are
multiple/nested xrefs that are 2d and model items that are 3d with (6)
paperspace viewports.
The problem is when trying to create b/w eplots, it either takes a
ridiculously long time or it crashes AutoCAD. Sometimes, it brings the
entire system down.
I'm using a 500Mhz pIII w/384RAM & scsi hard drives w/ about 500 megs of
swap space.
My first guess is that I may be running out of swap space. I'm going to
try another machine with more space, but I'm not convinced that is the
problem. I've tried binding the xrefs and xref clipping the backgrounds
with no luck.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
jim
