If you use nationals letters in the project folders name – link to project information page (htm) doesn’t work

I assume he means letters like the é in Océ. What a
user places in a link to the project information page is an URL. URLs have to be
standard ASCII characters. You will see how sometimes a space becomes %20 on
some systems. So my guess is that if you translate the foreign characters to
their numeric equivalents, it will work. Buzzsaw is not doing that automatically
for you. I have tested Buzzsaw 5 to ensure that the name Océ can be used as a
project, folder, file, or form name. So Buzzsaw 5 does have improvements in this
area.

This limitation has been addressed in the just-released version of ProjectPoint. You should be able to create folder names with any printable character and the links should work.

I believe this is just first step in right direction - sorry.
I can create folder names with the foreign characters and link to project information page working.
But!!!!!!! - when folder names has the foreign characters - link FROM the project information page doesn’t work ????

Correct. The URLs must be ASCII characters only.
You need to encode the special characters the same way a space becomes %20 if
you want this to work.

Can you be more specific about the issue you are
having...I would like to make sure that this if this is a problem is the
software it is addressed.

Or contact the Customer Care team directly at
800-892-0449 to discuss this issue.

Thanks,

John Helfen
