There are many scenarios where I would want to complete delete an issue, rather than just void it. Why can Field not do this?

Hello Justin,
I understand that you want to delete an issue from your project but I am sorry to let you know that at this time this functionality is not available in the Autodesk BIM 360 Field web application. By setting up filter you can avoid voided issues to show-up with rest of the project issues. Please, let me know if you need help setting-up issue filters. If you have any feedback that you would like to submit regarding any enhancement, please click on the “BIM 360 IdeaStation” link on the BIM 360 community home page. This will help the Project Manager and developers hear your voice on any changes/concerns with functionality directly for consideration in future builds.
Please, let me know if this help.
Thank you and have a great day!
Best regards,
How did you manage to do that? The best I've been able to find is to void the issue, however I'm not sure if this totally deletes it from the project. I'm trying to delete an Issue Type and it keeps coming up with an error saying "There are Issues, Issue Templates, or Checklist Templates that use this Issue Type. Please reassign them to a different Issue Type before to deleting this one". And yes, the terrible grammar was part of the error message. What are we paying Autodesk for again?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
You need to use the /fieldapi/issues/v1/destroy call within the API.
We ended up just writing a separate program that does a lot of stuff missing from the program (destroy issues, exports with attachments, upload photos, library sync'ing, etc).
If you are familiar with Excel Power Query, you can do a lot of the necessary API queries through there.
Hi @anil_mistry, Is there a way to delete issues now since this post It has been almost 4 years? Is it still through the API?
Is there a solid program available now to work with the API? Not familiar with Excel Power Query, would be willing to pick it up though if it means we can do some of the things missing.
