Is there a way not to itemized every instance in the equipment?

Is there a way not to itemized every instance in the equipment.  I would like for it to list the piece of equipment and the give me a count of how many instead of listing every piece.

In order to answer your question I would like to know your workflow. Have you tried running reports under Equipment “List by Type”.

Thanks for your quick reply, and I will try your solution. I don't have a current project, just learning the interoperabilty & workflow between Glue and Field.
