Autodesk Vault

Hi,

I am new in vault, and don't know how to login to.

there are 4 parameter to fill but I dont know How I can get it.

User name:

Password:

Server:

Vault:

I have user name in Autodesk but it dosen't work, would you guys please help me?

First of all, you need to setup a Vault server, please refer to wiki page how to install Vault server: http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Vault/enu/Help/Help/0206-Autodesk206/0210-About_Yo210/0238-Installi238

Once server ready, you can refer to following topic to get started with Autodesk Vault

 but the probelm is that I have setuped inventor or other Autodesk productions and now I have Autodesk Data Management as  Autodesk Vault Basic 2013 and I have not any serial number of  the Vault, therefor I can't continue install The Autodesk Vault server!!

Autodesk Vault Basic 2013 server does not require serial number. Can you find the Vault server installer from Inventor disk and have a try? Or contact your reseller to get started

I have got the vault from Education Community as a student version. so there is not any selling and buying to conect them. but acording to your guidance as:

I need serial number and FLEXnet tools which I don't know to how find them.

The installation guide in wiki page includes contents of Vault 4 editions, serial number and licensing required for 3 editions (Vault Workgroup, Vault Collaboration, or Vault Professional) but NOT for basic vault.

Did you ever try to run setup.exe for Vault server? Can you please attach an screenshot what step blocked to proceed server installation?

Please check your Inventor CDs, Vault Server shall be in a stand alone Disk, if you didn't get Inventor via CD media, pleasee contact Education Community, hope they have more ideas.

Hi kli01989,

Could you please follow the steps in Message #2 (link), these steps should be applicable for the latest vault too.

Let us know if you're still facing login issue.
