I am looking for an alternative to Vault Collaboration for replicating Vault across a WAN. Has anyone used other replication software? We have over 30 users and 10 users in our off site location and would like to replicate the Vault database but at $1600 cdn per seat and $290 sub seems like a lot of money just for replication.

There is a Vault Mirror application that came with the SDK pack in your vault media. At least that is where I think I found it. Search the Vault DVD for "Vault Mirror". We use this application to mirror our vault out to a server for the rest of the company to use. We have set it up to run every four hours to ensure the data is always current. If the file is checked in it will be mirrored, if the DWF attachment exists it will also be morrored.
It does not "replicate" the vault however. What you get are the latest versions of checked in files.
