Can the text box for ECO detailed descriptions allow for formatting (e.g. bullets, bold text, etc.)?

It appears not directly via the dialog....you can do create the description in Word, format the text, and then copy into the text box, that works, but its a pain and a poor workflow. 

Can this be altered in any way?
