Hi,

Hope someone can help me with the following:

During copy design in Vault 2012 (Inventor 2012) I get an error: Value cannot be null; Parameter name: value

None of the files are copied. I've tried al kind of different ways, coping in the same folder, different prefix and/or suffix, first selecting files, folderlocatin in "To", other way around, no folderlocation in "To', and so on! I've also contacted our Autodesk supplier, but till now do they also not know what causes this.

Does anybody know what can cause this or better, has a sollution for this?

VaultServer log file attached of today 6-6-2011

Hi Dan,

Thank you for your reply.  In our tests, you can set the ipj at the working folder root (example: C:\_Work) and then point your workspace to the workspace folder.  In another test, I set the IPJ file in $\ but it was mapped to C:\_Work and workspace folder was set to .\.

I hope this helps.

Hi everyone,

The Value cannot be null error has been solved by changing the working folder to C:\Vault\

Not C:\

I then got an XML error, which I had seen on the cracking the vault blog.

http://crackingthevault.typepad.com/crackingthevault/2010/11/there-is-an-error-in-the-xml-document.h...

So I turned off AVG link scanner and all is absolutely fine.

Ron, I noticed the workspace was set to .\ all seems to work ok so I'm not going to change it.

Thanks everyone.

Dan

Hi Ron,

Thanks a lot for helping, the problem is now solved for me.

Only thing I had to change would it work was to set to enforce the working folder. Only after that the error was gone.

But it works for me now, I'm the only user.
