    Hi sirs,

Although I have installed (and configured) the hotfix and the iFilter that solves this problem in VAULT PRO 2011 SP2, my system is unable to index the outlook messages.

    windows standard x64 2008 SP2

    sql standard 2008 sp1

    What can I do????

    regards

Can you provide any additional information or screen shots of what you are seeing? (or not seeing)

Did you install the MSG iFilter on the client or the server?

When mapping the UDP, did you perform an Import from Vault or Import from File?

(if the iFilter is installed on the client machine, you should perfrom the "Import from File" command - if the iFilter was installed on the server, perform the Import from Vault command)

I have installed MSGFILT.DLL on server.

I have run a re-index properties task, but MSG files appears on status dialog box as iFilter not installed.

If I try to configure the property, system says that this files has not properties to index.

I have done "the iFilter was installed on the server, perform the Import from Vault command"

I have installed with domain user as administrator, could be better to install de ifilter with administrator???

    regards

On the server, please verify that the MSG ifilter is not set to do content - only properties.

When you create your mapping and choose Import from Vault, does the MSG file show properties to map from?

On the server, please verify that the MSG ifilter is not set to do content - only properties. YES

When you create your mapping and choose Import from Vault, does the MSG file show properties to map from? NO

System says that is unable to extraxt from this kind of files.

    regards

It seems like the iFilter was not present, is not registered. But in the dialog box of indexing says that is installed.

Just to clarify, you have been successful in pulling in the properties by installing the MSG filter on the client and performing an "Import from File" command?
