Why is it when I try and 'Update' the preview of a Revit Family (.RFA) I am getting an 'Update View Restriction' error?

"Visualization file cannot be created for '-----.rfa' due to vaulting restrictions."

The family/s were added into Vault using the 'Add Files' button on the Vault tab in Revit.

Surely Autodesk knows the answer to this one?

I have around 1000 families in Vault which all need their Preview DWF file generated.

Hey Chad,

This should work, ensure that your viz settings for Revit under Tools/Admin/Vault Settings/Visualization is set to both Sheets & Views.

Please advise if you are still having the issue and we can look at the setup.
