I'm using the Engineering category and as far as I can tell, it's using the Standard Numeric format. Yet the revision numbers are not incrementing - all revisions are showing a rev. 1 in Vault. Why would this happen?

Hello and thank you for your post. There are a few possible reasons for this. First, I have to ask if you are doing anything that would require a revision bump (Revise, state transition that bumps the revision)?

Hi Adam - I was just testing that the revision numbering was working - so I checked out the doc, added some text in the document, and checked it back in. I was expecting to see the revision number increase, as per the AOTG.

That explains it. The version number will increase when you check in a new iteration of the file. If you'd like to see the version history you can add the Version property to any of the grids in the client.
