Does Vault Pro 2012 support folder level properties with compliance enforcement?

I know you can assign properties to folders, but can we enforce their use?

    Thanks

Unfortunately, the property compliance does not fully work in 2012.

    Hi Dave,

Sorry to did up an older post, but I think it might relate to my issue in some way.

Does the Property Compliance just not work properly in general in 2012, or only in specific ways?

The reason I ask is that I have some transitional Property Compliance setup, and despite doing so the file is still allowed to change to a Released state. Or is there possibly something else I haven't considered at play?

    Regards,
    Chad

In 2012, Property Compliance doesn't work for Folders.  To the best of my knowledge, it works fine on Files.

In 2013 Property Compliance now works for Folders, and Lifecycles are available to Folders.

I believe you can define whether or not compliance is required to enter a state in the Life Cycle Definition dialog.
