I have recently encountered this error when trying to check files into the Vault from AutoCAD Electrical. I attached a picture of the error that pops up. I have no clue where to start looking because I don't know what it means. I am using Vault 2012 (client) & ACADE 2012 on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Vault Server 2012 is installed on SQL Server 2008 R2 32-bit. It happened to us one day last week. But within the same day, the problem went away on its own.

Sometimes this happens when the client system date and time is too far from the server's sytem date and time.
Try checking the date and time on the system running ACADE and make sure it matches or closely matches the date tiem on the ADMS server.

That's a good point. A few months ago, I had a different error message saying something to that effect. I looked online for a solution and that's what I found. Our server's time was a few minutes ahead of the clients time. I'll keep an eye on that if our current problem arises again. (Everything started working again a couple hours ago) Thanks for the reply!

We are still having this issue. It happens at least twice a week now. Has anyone else encountered this/solved this? Thanks in advance.

Hello,
May i know the OS, CAD, server edition (base, workgroup, collaboration, professional) and their version? Addition information related to property setup may be useful. i would try to repro the issue.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have all the information you need? The server is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2 edition.

The Vault Server is version 2012. All of our products are on 2012.

We are having the same issue.
Only in AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 SP1,
with Basic Vault 2012 Client SP1 (with the Connectivity.Branding.Vault.dll replaced to get it to install.)
on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit SP1 and a Windows XP Pro 32 bit SP3.
The Server is Basic Vault 2012 Server SP1,
on Windows Server 2003 SP2,
with SQL Server 2008 Express SP2,
and IIS Version 6.
Is there a solution yet?
