Check-in folder in Autocad - does it affect file version?

    Hello,

If an R13 or Autocad 2007 drawing is checked into Vault using AutoCad 2011 and the Vault add-in, will the drawing still be okay to open in R13?  Or will it be saved to Autocad 2011 format?

    Thankyou!

It should retain the format. If you have XREFs repathing of XREFs happen. But otherwise it should retain the file format.

On a safer side keep a copy of it before doing the folder check-in.
