Is the Vault Server included in the INV 2010 PRO? I could only find the Vault Client (disk 6). Is the Vault Server now a separate product requiring a licence? I am not refiring to the Vault for Workgroup or Manufacturing, but the same product that was included in the INV2009 release.

Hi AlexS,
Vault server is located in Inventor disc. When you install Inventor, you will find the Vault Server option in the Inventor installation wizard.
Hope this helps.

To clarify, the option to install the server was removed from the Inventor
installation wizard in the 2010 release. However, the disc is included in
the Inventor case. Simply put the disc in and you can choose to install the
ADMS and Content Center.
The option to install the Vault Client is still included in the Inventor
installation wizard.

Thank you Tommy and Adam,
We have received a box with 6 disks, none of which has the Vault Server components. How many disks should there be in the set?

That's right. There are 7 total DVD's. But the Vault 2010 Server DVD is
'floating' in the case. It is in a white sleeve along with the
documentation.

I seem to have misplaced the vault server disc that is being discussed here.. Is there somewhere online that I can download Vault Server? Or do I need to get in touch with my VAR to have them send me another disc?

I would suggest talking to your VAR. I think that would be the best way
to get the server disc.
