    Listing Assemblies on Part .dwg's

We make Curtain Wall Assemblies that have an avarage of 40 parts each. Each of our assembly .dwg's have a parts list showing all of these parts. A large number of our individual parts are used on multiple assemblies. I would like to create a list on each part .dwg showing which assemblies it will be used on. Kind of like in Vault where there is a 'Where Used' tab.

Currently there is no standard property in Inventor to acheive this.

You can acheive this in Inventor using API programming.

But if you are using vault you can create a custom property in drawing to get this information from vault.

Would you be able to give me some guidance on how to accomplish this? We are currently manually typing in this information and would save us days of work.
