    Geodimeter Processing Software

I'm looking for software that will process Geodimeter .RAW files and create .DWG suitable for LD3 (ie faultlines and points as defined by surveyor). Also need the ability to place blocks on layers by code and draw lines(with 3 point arcs) as defined in field. If surveyed correctly, should need no intervention other than rotating text. Current software is FSP (made by MTE Engineering) but runs in DOS.
    Please use plain text.

We create the RAW files with total stations and download them to a PC. The files have some intelligence built into them ie linework, curves as well as the usual codes that correspond to appropriate symbols. Our current software (the old stuff) takes this RAW file and converts it to DXF which becomes the basis for design. All the linework and symbols are automatically created as are fault lines and points for LDD. I'm looking for something to replace this - I don't want to move backwards and have to join points manually.

Using the Survey module of Land Desktop you can convert most raw format files to a Softdesk Field book. From the fieldbook points can have symbols automatically inserted and labeled, and figures (lines) can be drawn automatically. The figures are created on individual layers and converted to breaklines. Why are you looking to replace your current system? We have to use V12 in DOS - good reason to upgrade?
Is there a spec for FBK file - I seem to remember it didn't even use coordinates - it used angles and distances from setup point - seems strange when coordinatea are already calculated in RAW file.

Do you have a version of the Survey module for Land Desktop? I noticed on the Survey module does have download and file conversion routines for the Geodimet instruments including: GEODAT 400, 402, 500, GIODIMETER internal memory utilities, GEODIMETER 4000 CU Utilities, and GEODIMETER 600 Utilities.
