CAiCE in Windows 7 64-bit help

Hello, I am trying to implement CAiCE SP 2 v10 on a network where users will not have admin privileges and am having severe difficulties.  We are going to Windows 7 64-bit.  We are stuck with SP2, since the network license will not work on SP3+.  I have tried changing the UAC setting to 'none', and that seemed to only make things worse.  After doing this, I can no longer, even as an admin, open the program more than once...upon closing the program, it will not open again and I have to log out or reboot, after tasking out of CAiCE.

I have tried several different setting changes on the shortcut compatibility tab as well, both BEFORE (by right clicking the setup.exe file) and AFTER installation (by right clicking the shortcut).  I believe the Disable Desktop Composition must be checked in order to view any chains, but I'm not sure about the Disable Visual Themes.  I know the Windows XP (SP3) must be checked.

I'm unsure whether to have the 'Run as admin' checked, and whether to do this under the Compatibility tab or the Shortcut/Advanced tab...or both?

We do have a network user group assigned, and this group is given Modify privileges on the C:\CAiCE folder.  Do they need Full Control instead of just Modify?

At one time, I had it running fine as an admin, but now I think I might have corrupted the registry, because I cannot get it to be stable as an admin any longer, even after complete uninstall/reinstalls.  Is it safe to delete any left behind registry files after an uninstall?  This has proven to be quite a headache.  Any suggestions would be most appreciated.  I have tried this on 2 different boxes (different makes/models), with similar results.  Thanks in advance,

    Jon
