We are land surveyors and wish to use Autodesk software, but it seems the
option is Civil3D or nothing.
Civil3D is a great product, and one of the most expensive in Autodesk's
portfolio, but the functionality way exceeds our needs (and I am sure many
other potential customers).
We would like a product that reads a field book file, processes data, does
some computational adjustments, displays line work, levels, contours.
This should compare with other products on the market, which can do the
above for £250 GBP a year.... but it isn't an Autodesk product and doesn't
work in dwg (although exports to dwg for tidying up...)
I would be grateful for support of this idea, as its only customers making
Autodesk aware of OUR wishes, that they can hopefully provide further useful
solutions....
Thanks, Paul.

You don't need Civil 3D. You could purchase Land Desktop 2005
to do the job and get it at a resonble price.

Hi,
From where can you buy a licensed version of Land Desktop 2005?
