We use Arch Desktop 3.3 on win2k Pentium 4, 2.4 Ghz machines w/ 512 Mb ram.
Frequently we have problems with drawings crashing, and being very difficult
to recover. Our recovery method is to open each of the xrefs, and the title
sheet, and wblock out all the graphics to a new drawing, and re-assemble the
xrefs. I think the problem is in the xref of the survey, for it's sheer size
( 8 Mb) and it's 3D info.
I'd like to find a way to remove the 3D info from the survey. There used to
be a flatten, or Project (as in projection to a zero elevation) utility I
used, but that was long ago and would no longer work, I'm sure (even if I
could find it).
Anyone have a suggestion?

You would probably get more response from the ADT groups.
This group is specifically for the now defunct "Field
Survey" program.

Thanks, I will post it there.
Was also intrigued by the reference to zeroz.lsp. Apparently that routine
would change entities with an extrusion elevation to a zero elevation? Where
do I find it?
