Why aren't dwp files viewable offline? This is what my customer sees at the
approval stage and it would be nice if he could download them and view
    offline.

    HELP !!!

The best thing to do for viewing drawings off line is to use the DWF format.
The export process works the same as a streamline file and supports more for
visualization than the DWP file format. You can use the "Autodesk Express
Viewer" to view the files off line. (free) and Streamline supports viewing
    with the same control

You can get the viewer and learn more at www.autodesk.com/expressviewer

For Autodesk Inventor, while in a drawing use the Save As DWF command for
Inventor 7. In Inventor 8 there will be a "Publish" command on the file
menu that will do the same.
