I am working through the V3 tutorials and go to one of my eRooms and open up
one of my assemblies created from InventorR5.
I don't have the BOM window button in my erooms , only the Streamline 3
eroom.
What do I need to do to get the BOM button in my other eRooms?

The BOM button is available depending upon whether or not the data is
available in the file itself. Therefore, unless you published your Inventor
assembly from Inventor 5.3, you will NOT have the BOM button available (the
ability to publish BOM data was implemented in Inventor 5.3).
However, if you have Inventor 5, you can still get this functionality by
installing a software extension on top of Inventor 5. To install this
extension, go to the following URL:
https://streamline.autodesk.com/Streamline/downloa d/
Note: This URL is also indicated in the Streamline 3 tutorial.
Once you install this software extension, you'll be able to use the "Save
Copy As" dialog to republish a Streamline package - this time WITH the extra
BOM information. This is the same functionality that is now available in
Inventor 5.3.
Hope this helps!
