    Uploading File to Streamline

I have noticed a problem in the past few days
with uploading files to Streamline. First of all, the status dialog shows that
all the data has been transferred but won't close after it's done... if I want
to close it myself it asks if I want to cancel the upload. Secondly, sometimes
the file seems to fully upload (looking at the file size) but a dialog comes up
saying that the there was an unexpected error with the server.

Any suggestions as to why this is
    occuring?

    Andrew,

You may want to try the webfolders interface to
post the files. In the hyper link you use to connect to your site change
folders.buzzsaw.com to webfolders.buzzsaw.com this will open a folder on your
site as if it is a folder on your system and you will be able to drag and drop
files into it. You can see windows help for more detail instructions on
    webfolders.

If this problems persist you may want to contact
one of the support technicians at 800-892-0449 or sent an email to
    href="mailto:mcs.support@autodesk.com">mcs.support@autodesk.com

    John,

Thanks for the tip, I set up the webfolders
and it does work better. Only thing I noticed is that in Project
Administration > Activity Log it did not record the fact that I added a file?
    Why is that?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Andrew,

Webfolders use a different upload process than if
you were to actually do the upload from within project point. We recommend it as
an alternative. It is sometimes easier when you are doing large
    uploads.

If you still are continuing to have these issues
    please note:

    User Name

    Site Name

    File Name

    File Size

http location where you are trying to
    post

Time and time zone when the problem happened

Also, if possible can you get a screen capture of
    any errors you see?

We can then begin tracking the issue to find what
might be causing the problems. Am I correct in saying this is a random failure?
    You can post files correct?

    John,

This is a random problem... below is some
info. I can't access the site right now as my trial has expired... I have plans
to purchase a license in the next short while, I'll be able keep working with it
    then.

    Eastern Standard Time Zone

File Size is anywhere from 2MB-12MB

    Hi John,

I wanted to try out this webfolders option and I wasn't able to log-in using
my username and password - is there some trick to it?

Be sure to drop the "/client" or "/doc" part of the URL too.

Ok, I just did that - tried it and I got a password dialog - clicked OK
because it was already filled in - and I got a "the page cannot be
    displayed".

    What next?

That message is usually a result of forgetting to check the the "Open as Web
Folder" option in IE's "File...Open..." dialog.
