Hi,
I want to ask you about type of mesh for this part as you see in attachment
I have used Dual Domain Mesh. But the aspect ratio was very high 38 and Mutch Meshand I could not reduce this ratio into less than 10.
Do you think 3D Mesh is appropriate for this part? and why?
Is 3D Mesh the same 3D Solid?
What is Maximum aspect ratio for 3D Mesh?
How long time to get the results after doing Fill Analysis + Wapage
I am waiting for your reply as soon as possible
Regards

Hello,
In my opinion you can use a Dual mesh for this part.
Because it has thin walls.
You are not oblige to reduce the maximum apect ratio to 8.
I often stop my corrections with an aspect ratio of 12 or 20.
Starting from an iges file permit to get a better mesh than from a STL.

Pascal Gosset. Another question please
The match Percentage is 79.89%. How can we increase the percentage? Hopefully explain it in details
Is it important to increase this percentage?

Try to reduce your element size to generate a finer mesh. This will increase the mesh matching in several cases.
As for the high aspect ratio, a smaller element size will help you there too but you should also eliminate the small fillets (radii) from the various edges on your part model (in CAD).
There is nothing wrong with selecting Dual-Domain meshing for this model.
Mesh matching is important for better warpage predictions (among others).
