    GPU working for 2013?

Has anyone else noticed their GPU working with the 2013 release?  I just realized that mine is not and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this and if they have found a solution?  I'm in the process of checking driver updates.

Or is there somewhere that I need to tell the software to use the GPU?  I thought the default was that if it finds a GPU, it will use it.

    Thanks,

    Tim

GPU options are all over the place:

~ In process settings, hit "next>" and there will be a checkmark for "Use GPU card if available".  For me this is always disabled by default.

~ In process settings, hit "Advanced options...", Select "Edit" for the Solver parameters,  There are GPU use options in both the Fill + Pack and Warp analysis pages.

In the Analysis Log, under the matrix solver settings, it will indicate your GPU.  I know for me it says "not found".  I'm under the impression that is because I have a Nvidia Fermi series gpu which is not supported in 2012.

Thanks for your reply.  I did find an update on the driver and then 2013 found the GPU and is using it as expected.

If nothing else, others might double check the log file to be sure the GPU is being used.  If not, check for driver updates.

    Thanks,
