Can any one suggest me how to design baffle in Moldflow? I have designed it but intersecting problem is there. Is there any design criteria. I am attaching my cooling channel and its intersecting problem image here. Plz do help me to design it.
1. just keep 0.5 to 1 gap of inlet and outlet of baffle.
and create inverted V shape curves then mesh it.
It will solve the problem of intersection.
2. if create manually. it will solve.
3. take a help of local tech support. they will help you within 10 minute time

I agreed with madhukeshwart. Baffes are strange because they need a way in and a way out. It usually comes for a vertical baffle to two set of beams almost superposed. As mentioned, a curve in a V shape, meshed with beam elements (superposied if the distance at the top of the V is very small). Alternatively, you can use bubbler if you want to create only one vertical curve and mesh it with only one set of beam elements.

Don't worry about the overlapping. Of cause those beams are overlapped.

I run the analysis allowing all overlapping in beam elements. But, frequently I got following three error messages although MoldFlow completed the analysis and I generated the report long times ago.
Error messages are:
1. ** WARNING 701360 ** Beam element 88933 has a very bad length/diameter ratio.
2. ** WARNING 700955 ** Two elements are too close
First Element: id = 2615, location = Part_model.
Second Element: id = 2627, location = Part_model.
3. ** WARNING 701500 ** Cannot freeze element 812
Why it happens? Is this occurs due to the overlapping of baffle elements? If I run one analysis keeping all overlapping of baffles the result will be proper or not?
Error 1 : the circuits must have a length 2.5 to 3 times more important than their diameter.

But it is not always possible all along the circuits.
Normaly, this don't creates errors in calculations.
Error 2 and 3 : those warnings can lead to errors.
Look carefully your part meshing and correct it if necessary.
The warnings do not mean you will have errors in simulations.
Just take care carefully about the "strange" things in the results and the calculations summary.
