Autodesk Simulation Mechanical and Multiphysics

While using a command like "create lines" I can zoom and pan with my mouse just fine, but when I use my 3D Connexion Space Navigator the command is canceled.

Is this a bug?

Yes that it is a defect of Algor Simulation against 3D Connexion Space Navigator. It has been logged into Autodesk defect system #1326015. We will look into this issue soon.

I am having this same problem with Autocad Architecture 2012. Is there a resolution to this problem?

This solution from 3Dconnxion through their facebook page: Set the visual style to anything other than 2dwireframe.  So now I'm using plain wireframe when working in top view and no cancelled commands when panning or zooming. Awesome!!! Just make sure nav cube and nav bar are on.
