I would like to simulate an impact test that's performed on aluminum wheels for an automobile as part of the evaluation for performance.
The wheel is tilted 13deg from a horizontal plane and mass of, let's say 1250 lb is dropped from a height of 9 inch. Please image attached.

You can use MES contact to simulate this impact problem.

Take a look at the following web page link to see typical results you can get using Autodesk Simulation Mechanical when performing such analysis with "MES"
