I've received a number of questions about CFdesign, what it is and what can it do? In simple terms, CFdesign is a CFD simulation product that was designed from the beginning to redefine how CFD was used by engineers. We categorized it as "upfront CFD". As the name implies, the mission was to put CFD upfront in the design process allowing engineers to leverage simulation to make better design decisions.
What's different? Redefining what ease of use means, leveraging inteligent automation and allowing for process autotmation are just a few things.
Purpose of the post is not a shameless plus, but rather to help answer some of the basic questions.

Is Autodesk CFdesign capable of doing thermal stress analysis like Algor (Autodesk Simulation Mechanical) ?
Thanks

No, Simulation CFD solves fluid flow and heat transfer (conduction, convection and radiation). Simulation Mechanical & Multiphysics solve for thermal stress.
